About the last post...

Well, wasn't my previous post such an insightful one? Has it awoken your inner JY? Well, as great as it was, (Though that's nothing special, all my posts are great.) I happened to have written completely out of point. In fact, it's a all time record. Did you know what the post was originally supposed to mean? Was my writing good enough for you to have picked out the clues to where I was going? Hint, they're all in only the first, second and half of the third paragraph. If you read anything else you'll get confused, like I did. Sometimes, you can't handle all your omniscience at once. 


Well, anyway, here's a short analysis as contributed by JY:

'Right from the beginning. we can see that ЈУֻтґапѕєптїєпт has tried to draw a parallel between WShGS, and the current financial crisis. That means that we can expect other similarities to come up. Next, in the second paragraph, ЈУֻтґапѕєптїєпт then talks about governments taking steps to boost their failing economies, then follows up with a blatant giveaway by writing that steps are being taken to help WShGS too. Finally, in the first half of the third paragraph we can find ЈУֻтґапѕєптїєпт criticising some of the plans that governments are trying to come up with. Does he think he can do better? Probably, and that means that he is planning to come up with his own plans for WShGS, and how they will strike you as far superior than anything the world is struggling to come up with. But then, after that he suddenly veers away, and I can tell that he has lost the point thereon.'

Not bad, JY, except that your ending comments were a bit stinging... Never mind, I can roll with the punches. (That is, if they hit me. I can veer away quite well, you know.) 

So, now that you've been given the benefit of a master's advice, I'm sure the truth is out. So what exactly was I driving at with the talk of plans to bring WShGS back to glory?

Well, this first step involves increasing awareness of WShGS. The first steps of the first step have already been taken before, like the putting on WShGS onto search engines so long ago, WShGS's presence of Blogged, BlogThis and other assorted site listings. Then, there were the WShGS advertisment campaigns, mostly as footers to my emails. Finally, WShGS entered into an alliance with ReLG which involved prominient links to each site on each site, and extra space for a RSS feed to the other site. Of course, I do have several things to say about the alliance, but that will be for next time. There will be no digression on a post about correcting a digression. I will only reveal that it will be about how the alliance is rather imbalanced, being a detriment to WShGS whilst at the same time a great boon to ReLG.


As for the WShGS awareness campaign, the time has come to raise things to another level. Previously the battle was about capturing the interest of random internet browsers by chance, but we will now take the fight to them. The first move, a WShGS Facebook page!


Yep. WShGS has gone to Facebook! With a reach of over 150 million active users, (Wikipedia :P) just tapping on a tiny fraction of it will reap huge benefits. The vast interconnectedness of it is also very nice, like a sort of mesh, no, wave, when something happens here, it flows on to there and so on. Think about it! Guy A becomes a fan of WShGS, Person B sees this 'Guy A is now a fan of WShGS!' and goes, ooh, this is cool, I want to be part of it too! Then he becomes a fan too, giving Man C and Inhabitant D the message 'Person B is now a fan of WShGS!' Which will in turn intrigue them and get them to become fans too, and the domino effect continues! In no time, WShGS will become the hot topic, causing even more people to join, and all the time funnelling countless numbers of hits to WShGS! Yay!


Then again, it's been 3 days since the WShGS page went up, and all I've got is 2 fans, me and Wilbert, whom I forced to join. Well, things don't always go as you want them. That's why we have this post, to increase awareness about the WShGS program to increase awareness. So, do your part for WShGS now, and become a follower of WShGS, set it to your homepage, become a fan of it on Facebook and then tell everyone about it!


Okay, that's just being a little extra. Just checking often would be enough, but if you blog with Blogger it wouldn't hurt to become a follower, and if you have Facebook you could also become a fan to help.
